I recently moved to Canada, and I really want to understand what running a business here is actually like — in the words of the people doing it. So I'm reaching out to connect with owners, with no agenda beyond learning. Give me 15 minutes on how your business works, and I'll share what I notice in return — where your customers are likely coming from, what that's roughly costing you, and where money might be quietly leaking.
I spent over 20 years in corporate as a technical person harnessing data to optimise how things work — the last 9 of them running customer acquisition and retention at a large retail bank, where the whole job was optimising return on marketing investment at scale. This is me bringing that lens to your business for a few minutes.

I've recently gone independent, and before I build anything I want to understand where real businesses here are stuck — in their words, not mine. The trade is simple: we compare notes — you get an honest outside read on your customer acquisition, and I get to learn how your business really works.
