Find Your Constraint
A guided self-assessment that walks your own numbers through the customer chain and names the constraint worth fixing first. In the works — here's the manual version meanwhile.
The guided version of this self-assessment is being built: a short walk through your own numbers that ends with your candidate constraint named, and one next step — sometimes including "this isn't something anyone should sell you."
Until it ships, here is the manual version. Four questions, answered honestly, get you most of the way:
- Where do the most people fall out? Follow a stranger's path — found, trusted, chosen, paid, returned — and find the step where your numbers thin out most sharply.
- Which step, if it doubled in strength, would change your month? Not your favourite step. The one with the most people waiting on the other side of it.
- What does the evidence say, not the feeling? Enquiry counts, booked work, days-to-paid, repeat share. One real number beats any amount of instinct.
- What would you have to stop believing? The constraint is usually hiding behind something you're sure is fine.
Take your answer to the cluster that owns that step — the map lives in The Whole Picture.
